PR & Communications Manager, France

Your Role

As PR & Communications Manager for France, you will be in charge of building the narrative to support the continued growth of Fastned in France. You will manage the PR strategy rollout, our French social media platforms, plan and organise Fastned’s presence to internal & external events, and foster relationships with electric driving communities. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager, local teams (Public Affair, Network Development…), the central PR team in Amsterdam, and external agencies to ensure consistent messaging and impactful campaigns.  It’s a role with a strong combination of quick thinking and execution, to grow an innovative brand in a highly competitive market. 

Key Responsibilities:

PR Execution

  • Lead the implementation of the French Comms & PR strategy, aligned with Fastned’s mission and business goals.

  • Identify PR opportunities and generate positive media coverage

  • Monitor the press mailbox

  • Build an event strategy (internal and external) relevant to Fastned various growth pillars

Events

  • Identify and organise internal events to grow Fastned’s brand awareness locally

  • Support local teams in participating in external events to promote Fastned’s brand awareness on a national level and towards B2B audiences.

Media Relations

  • Build and maintain relationships with bloggers and influencers.

  • Monitor media coverage 

  • Manage relationships with local PR agencies, ensuring alignment with Fastned’s strategy.

Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Create and oversee content such as press releases, blog posts, newsletters, social media updates, and case studies.

  • Lead the profiling of local leaders online and in the media

Project Management & Reporting 

  • Manage PR campaigns from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with objectives

  • Measure and report on PR activities and KPIs

  • Stakeholder management: support Public Affairs, Network development and PR central teams

Your profile

You are energetically collaborating with colleagues across the company and acting as a creative sparring partner. Taking ownership is something that comes naturally to you. You love working in a very mission-driven, fast-paced environment, and you are the focus on results. Additionally, you tick the following boxes:

  • 4 to 8 years’ experience in PR & Communications, ideally in an international or fast-paced environment

  • Fluent French and professional English; strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Good understanding of the French media landscape and first experience with social media or influencers

  • Ability to create engaging content: press releases, short stories, social media posts and newsletters

  • Hands-on experience or strong interest in social media management and media coverage tracking

  • Strong organisational skills; able to support PR campaigns and events from planning to execution

  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and external PR agencies

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track KPIs and report on PR impact

  • Strong interest in sustainability, energy transition and Fastned’s mission
